Programs for couples who are married, long-term committed or contemplating marriage or a long-term relationship.

Establishing a committed relationship is an important and exciting step in a person's life. If you are planning to marry or enter a committed relationship, it is important to explore your relationship and to develop the skills needed to handle the challenges that inevitably arise when people share their lives. You and your partner can use one of our pre-marriage/ committed relationships programs (known as FOCCUS^©) to assist you in your preparation.

Couples attending these programs are asked to fill out a questionnaire to assist them to think about many different aspects of their relationship.

A qualified facilitator will work with the couple during the three sessions, to review the results of the questionnaire and what it means for the couple and their relationship.

This may involve a discussion about:

• personality differences
• lifestyle expectations
• communication styles
• friends and interests
• family backgrounds
• beliefs about parenting, money, etc.

For long-term committed/married couples REFOCCUS^© Relationship / Marriage Enrichment Inventory is a collection of five questionnaires that a couple can use and score themselves (as part of five weekly evening sessions) in which the general topic areas are discussed with other couples - sensitive issues are discussed privately between the couple or with a facilitator.

It is ideal for couples who wish to spend time and energy on their relationship, but desire a little direction and skill building assistance in doing so. REFOCCUS^© can help you affirm what is strong in your relationship and help you explore areas ready for growth and/or problem solving.

$250 per couple or $200 single income or $150 student/concession
